For our March session on the 27th, we will be hosting Molly Hermiller and Ziad Nahas.

Molly Hermiller, PhD, is a cognitive neuroscientist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Florida State University. Her lab studies how the hippocampus interacts with cortical networks to support episodic memory, using noninvasive brain stimulation and whole-brain fMRI. She also investigates how brain stimulation can modulate the hippocampal memory network to better understand its role in long-term memory. The title of her talk will be “Noninvasively Engaging the Human Hippocampus.”

Ziad Nahas, MD, MSCR, is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on mood dysregulation and depressive disorders with emphasis on clinical translation.
